The Presales Consultant (Cloud – Azure & M365) will play a critical role in engaging with customers to understand both their business and technical requirements. The consultant will be responsible for designing comprehensive cloud migration and modernization roadmaps, utilizing Azure’s IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings to best meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Develop and present cloud migration and modernization strategies, leveraging Azure’s range of services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Effectively position Microsoft Azure against competing cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on the unique value Azure delivers.
- Lead presales discussions around Microsoft incentive programs, including the Azure Migration and Modernization Program (AMMP), End Customer Investment Funds (ECIF), as well as funding for Security and Modern Work initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive solution assessments, total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) analyses, and all necessary presales documentation.
- Work collaboratively with sales and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution from proposal through to delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in Azure and M365 presales and solutioning.
- Hands-on familiarity with the Microsoft partner ecosystem and its associated incentive programs.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Experience working with Microsoft partner organization is a plus
